The realme Buds Air Pro is an upgrade to its TWS lineup that features a 10mm bass boost driver and an S1 chipset for a more stable connectivity. Unlike its predecessors, the new realme Buds Air Pro features a cobblestone-inspired charging case and has a lightweight form factor. Aside from that it also features a low latency rate of up to 94ms, active noise cancellation of up to 35dB, IPX4 certification for water resistance, Transparency mode for hearing ambient sound while wearing the device, and up to 25 hours battery life.

The new realme Buds Air Pro comes in the familiar yellow box with the image of the buds in front. Inside the box is the charging case, Buds Air Pro earpieces, USB Type-A to Type-C cable, extra silicone ear cups, and documentation. You will also get (3) eartips in different sizes which gives you a total of four pairs in different sizes to get a better fit.

Design And Build Quality

The new Buds Air Pro cobblestone-inspired charging case looked very simple yet elegant and is made from lightweight  smooth glossy texture polycarbonate material. In front is the LED light indicator and realme logo and a charging port (USB type C) while at the back is the metal hinge. You will find the pairing button on the right side of the device.

The earbuds are also equipped with touch sensors to help in controlling the music and answering phone calls. The touch controls are responsive enough and are also pretty easy to use. It also comes with three different sets of silicone ear cups for a perfect fit. Plus the lightweight design makes it more comfortable to use for a longer time. The Buds Air Pro is also IPX4 water splash resistant, which means this earphones can keep up with your active lifestyle without worrying about your earphones.

realme Buds Air Pro

I’ve reviewed a lot of earbuds this year and I must say the realme Buds Air Pro is definitely one of the best I’ve tried and the most affordable with the kind of features it has.

The realme Buds Air Pro also allows users to customize the controls with the help of the realme Link app. The earbuds can also be connected easily using the realme Link app. With the use of this app users can easily switch between Active Noise Cancellation, Transparency mode, and General Modes. Along with this users can also customize which modes they want to use with the touch control. The ap also enables users to turn on/off the Game mode, use Volume Enhancer and Bass Boost which amplifies the bass.

Intelligent Touch Controls

  • Double-tap: Play/pause music playback/ answer a call
  • Triple-tap: Go to the next song
  • Press and hold one side: End call
  • Press and hold both sides: Enter/exit Gaming Mode

In terms of battery life, the ultra-low-power realme S1 chip and 486mAh large battery capacity gives you a massive 25 hours total playback for continuous music listening time, gaming time, calling time, and video watching time. With ANC ON, you can listen to music for up to 20 hours. The Buds Air Pro comes with a Type-C port which takes about 1 hour to charge the earbuds from 0 to 100%. While we don’t get wireless charging for this device it is still not bad considering its price range.

realme Buds Air Pro

I’ve been using this device for a week now, and I was really surprised with the sound quality. It was very comfortable even with long use because it has a good battery life. It is the ideal earbuds for listening to your favorite audiobooks or music. So if you’re looking for a truly wireless earbuds with noise canceling feature then the realme Buds Air Pro is one of the best options for you especially if you are a realme smartphone user. To be honest I was really surprised with its noise canceling feature. As soon as you turn it on even without music background noise is canceled out my electric fan actually sounded quiet. Plus the price is really affordable compared to other TWS with noise canceling features in the market today.
