Say Hola as we bring Mexico’s biggest party to the Philippines!

Cinco de Mayhem welcomes you into a world of Mexican folklore and celebration in one epic night you’ll never forget. Enjoy the premiere Mexican-inspired music and arts festival in the country as you dance the night away with performances from top local acts in the middle of beautiful scenery, activities and drinks that’ll have you saying “Ay Caramba!”

In a historic first, premiere events producers ProMedia Productions brings a unique musical experience with the first-ever Cinco de Mayhem Music Festival. A first of its kind, Cinco de Mayhem brings together top local artists and DJs in a vibrant and festive celebration of music, youthful spirit, community, and of life at the Vista Mall Daang Hari Open Grounds this coming Cinco de Mayo weekend, Saturday, May 4, 2019.

The brainchild of actor and host turned musician Alexander Diaz, Cinco de Mayhem is slated to create a gathering like no other—mixing the richness of Mexican culture and the unrelenting spirit highlighted in this widely-celebrated annual world event.

“I’ve always been passionate about good music and a good party and Cinco de Mayhem combines just that. Not only are we bringing the festivity of Cinco de Mayo in the Philippines, but we are elevating it by ushering in topnotch Filipino talent with our line-up of game-changing musicians,” shared Diaz, festival Creative Director.

Hold on to your sombreros (and maracas, if you will) and marvel at this unique artistic revelry headlined by local performers James Reid and Nadine Lustre, along with the rest of the Careless Music Manila crew: Astrokidd, Massiah, Kingwaw, Curtismith, and Sofia Romualdez, together with rising and legendary musicians and DJs from Quest, Kiana Valenciano, Divine Smith, DJ Euric, Deuce, and Nix Damn P. To spice the lineup even further, the country’s first and only female MC Marga Bermudez joins the roster, along with a special surprise performer to be unveiled as we inch closer to the event proper.

Bringing a unique twist to the music festival scene. New’s vision and craftsmanship is set to help build the Mexican utopia specially-designed to mold an unforgettable experience for Mayhemigos.

Leeroy New Sketch for Cinco de Mayhem Music Festival
Leeroy New’s large-scale art gives artistic edge to the first-ever Cinco De Mayhem Music Festival.

The General Santos City-born contemporary artist and young visionary has dabbled into different platforms from film, theater, product design, and fashion. His proclivity to the arts has propelled him to be trained originally as a sculptor but his innate knack for transforming otherworldly ideas into thought-provoking and eye-catching pieces has brought him to try his hands on various mediums from production design for film, wearable, sci-fi art for known fashion designers and muses, including Lady Gaga, down to 3D mock ups for commercial purposes. His creative practice has produced a comprehensive body of work that is celebrated locally and in the global scene.

    Leeroy New
Leeroy New is a contemporary Filipino fine artist whose works overlap with theatre, film, fashion, and visual arts.

Apart from the high-octane performances, expect fun activities set up at the event venue, backdropped by beautiful scenery, merely 30 minutes outside of Metro Manila.

“We are not just thrilled to share a lineup that is so fresh and diverse, we are excited to bring together an epic night that will surely be unforgettable—a first of many Cinco de Mayhems to come. With this caliber of local acts and this Mexican utopia we have set up for everyone to enjoy, we sure have an experience that will make this the perfect way to cap off your summer,” said Lahaina Mae Mondonedo, Director of Operations.
